Puddlejumpers is my creator-owned comic project set in a post-sea-rise world. Humanity perseveres in small communities, connected to one another by slow-moving shipping lanes. But sometimes packages, materials, post or even people have to get places faster than the lanes allow. For those jobs, you need a PuddleJumper.
Inspired by the hopeful adventure stories of Becky Chambers, Guillarme Singelin, and Owen Pomery. PuddleJumpers swaps the expanse of space and clusters of planets for the span of oceans and dotted archipelagos.
Issue #1 is drawn and lettered, and will be launched in the second half of 2025.
